A day with
SCIENCE SQUAD
Every Science Squad visit is designed to run smoothly for schools, while delivering maximum excitement and learning for pupils.
Step 1: Booking your workshop
Ready to bring science to life in your school? Complete an enquiry form, found here, and we’ll help plan a day that works for your pupils.
We’ll discuss your year groups, pupil numbers and any specific requirements to make sure everyone gets the most our of the experience.
Then it’s time to get ready for an out-of-this-world science adventure.
Step 2: Arrival & setup
On the day, our Science Squad scientist arrives at your school with everything needed for an exciting day of scientific discovery.
We’ll set up the equipment and prepare the space for the live show and hands-on workshops. We organise everything. All you need to do is get your pupils ready for their mission.
Step 3: The mission begins
The day kicks off with The Race to Save Buzz, an action-packed, interactive science show where pupils join Captain Nova on a mission to rescue their astro-dog, stranded on Mars!
Through exciting experiments, immersive projection and plenty of audience participation, pupils explore gravity, forces, energy and heat as they help tackle the challenges of space travel.
The show brings science to life on a big scale, setting the scene for an afternoon of hands-on discovery. Each show is tailored to the age of the audience, keeping science engaging, accessible and appropriately challenging.
Step 4: Time to get hands-on!
In the afternoon, pupils become the scientists! Working in smaller groups, they’ll rotate through four exciting experiments, investigating the science behind the morning’s rescue mission.
Activities are adapted to different year groups, giving pupils the chance to predict, test and explore scientific concepts for themselves.
It’s a day designed to spark curiosity long after Science Squad has left!
